All throughout the world, Demi-Human species make up a large swath of the non-magical creature population. This large and overarching term is used to group any creature which is humanoid in action or appearance and that does not have natural magical traits or abilities, such as dragons or fox spirits. Demi-humans outnumbers human population by 1 ½ to 1 and had multiple unknown origins. People say that they were created by dark magicians during the Old War in hopes of creating super soldiers and more powerful fighters. Others say they were created by the old wizarding guilds as familiars and a rite of passage to becoming a master. Regardless of their origins, more than 500 different types of Demi-human races exist, Hiko being of one of these races.

Hiko is a Demi-Human Sea Slug with a joyous and upbeat attitude. She lives a normal and uninteresting life attending NeuroWave Academy, a Hakirax sponsored private school. Hiko attempted to make friends, however finds people keep their distance from her due to her venomous skin. Regardless, Hiko always tries to do her best.
